Fourth reason - convenient location of Napa College

Now is the time to describe the language courses place, - the college location in the area of Ayia Napa.

Sotira locality ("Sotira" in Greek means "salvation") got its name due to the construction of the Byzantine period temple "The Transfiguration of Christ the Savior" in this area. It is not the only historic site in the area. At the eastern entry there is the twelfth century monastery of Agios Mamas, and a bit to the west we see the cruciform, "Greek cross" shaped, church of Panagia Hordakiotissa in fifteenth-century Eastern Christian tradition. Another church is an early Eastern Christian basilica, Syrian three-nave sample, named after Agios Georgios (St. George). In Sotira, there is also a small church museum.

Such a concentration of valuable historic sites with ancient frescoes, all of it is so carefully kept, and so well-groomed that one can't help praising the efforts and diligence of the local mayor and Cyprus Famagusta District authorities.

Adding to this picturesque surroundings, the abundance of local flora and fauna, mild climate of the seaside would complement impressions of being in this friendly and sunny corner of the Mediterranean.
